Durable, Eco-Friendly Coating with a Flawless Finish

Powder Coating

Powder Coating is a high-performance, dry finishing process used to apply a decorative and protective layer on metal surfaces. It is known for its durability, wide color range, and environmental friendliness. The process involves applying a dry powder that is electrostatically charged and then cured under heat to form a smooth, uniform coating.

Powder Coating Process

1. Surface Preparation (Cleaning & Pretreatment)

The metal surface is cleaned thoroughly to remove dirt, grease, rust, or old paint. This is done using degreasing, sandblasting, or chemical treatments. Proper surface prep ensures strong adhesion and long-lasting finish.

2. Electrostatic Powder Application

A specialized spray gun applies powder particles electrostatically, causing them to cling to the grounded metal surface evenly. The powder used is typically a thermoplastic or thermoset polymer.

3. Curing (Baking)

The coated item is placed in a curing oven where it is heated to a specific temperature (usually between 160°C to 220°C). This causes the powder to melt, flow, and chemically bond to the surface.

4. Cooling & Inspection

After curing, the product is cooled and undergoes a quality check to ensure uniformity and finish.
